Literature Text

Guitar strings

Make out the road,

Motionless, quiet,

Except for the headlights,

While I carry an invisible load,

Across the end of the road,

Hearing a distant harmony

That I’m sure doesn’t exist,

Balancing on the guitar strings,

To walk where no man has strode,

My western romance a distant past,

And she asked: “Who are you?”

And I answered: “I don’t know.”

Gather your wit,

Clutch onto a life that has passed,

Cross the pavement,

Where thoughts have flowed,

Where crows have crowed,

Where time has slowed,

To find the end of the road.
Day 6- Write a poem of any length incorporating every word from your latest Facebook status.

I don't have Facebook.

So instead I wrote whatever I wanted.

Never saw the movie Rango, but now I kinda want to. 0.o WHERE DO THEY SELL IT???????!!!!!!! D: Can't find it at Wall-Mart blegh.

Nice to know you can just disregard prompts and run with whatever you want. XD This poem definately looks like it was inspired by that scene, but it could work for so many more things. I love it!
