It's done! It's done! This is a joyous day indeed!A much overdue collab with
, featuring my characters (the Robot Monkeys) and hers, Kierra and Lulu. She did the line art. I did the colouring.It took forever. It's the grass that did me in - I spent hours fiddling with it before it looked marginally the way I wanted it. I also took the time to experiment with some new lighting/shading things I've been wanting to do for a while. But I LOVE the way it turned out. It was so worth the effort!
...There were speech bubbles, but it looked weird. And I figured their body language told the story well enough.

THE COLORING. DAMMIT HOW CAN YOU COLOR SO WELL?! D8< It was not at all what I expected, and I love it for it. As usual, the background is my favorite part, I love the grass (which is good, cuz you spent so much time on it) most, also, adding the leaves was a nice touch. And the shading done on the characters is absolutely brill, too!
Feh, even when it's beautifully colored I can't help thinking that Sedna just doesn't look right. That's not your fault. It tis a responsibilty/burden the lineartist much carry.
